Who can ride?
As long as you are fit enough to cover a 50 to 80km ride, you’ll enjoy every minute of the climbs and the hospitality. There is more to France than struggling up a mountain.
It's NOT a race
If you are coming to race up the mountains, then maybe this is not the tour for you. We ride as a group as much as possible, we stop regularly and we enjoy the ride, the company and the scenery!
Accommodation
It's one stop, you unpack and stay in that room for the duration of the tour. Breakfast and most evening meals are included, and snacks and refreshments will be provided up some of the more ICONIC climbs.
This cycling tour is designed around the rider who wants to “see the destination” not race to the top or “blaze the descents.” I believe that for many, this tour could be a once in a lifetime, so, why spend your dream holiday exhausted, sore and riding at a pace that means you miss almost everything? The destinations are chosen by us for simple reasons:• You've seen them on television and always wanted to see and ride them yourself.• You want to see more than the 5 metres of road in front of you. After all, this is France!• You’d rather enjoy the ride, than spend it trying to keep up. With that in mind, I will plan the days so that you get the photo opportunities you want (& deserve), will have rest stops, banter and chatting and you will enjoy the whole experience. What’s more, you’ll probably want to come back again! I really look forward to hosting you.
